Obama or Huckabee, Neither. This was just the voice of a predominately
Evangelical Christian population. Bill Clinton was in last place in
Iowa in 1992, and we now know who won that Presidential election.
We
still need to hear from the young upcoming yuppie population, the
extreme liberal population, and we will see this happen in areas of our
country populated by different backgrounds such as more urban states.
This
Iowa caucus just happens to be the nations first glimpse. It doesn't
really prove a thing. Unfortunately, as in everything the media hypes
it up!
It disturbs me that the media doesn't mention Ron Paul.
But then the media is controlled by the big business moguls of that
profession. Please believe me big business is running this country.
We
are a generation who still remember when many of our parents worked in
factories and were union members. I challenge you all to post a reply
to this post with the name of one or more bellied up company or branch
of a company in your area that employed the majority of it's
population. The unions had no power when the company sent it's work
overseas as to increase profits using cheap labor.
Now, don't
use names but count the number of people you know who have
"prescription or illicit drug", or alcohol problems, and post that
number.
Let us take it to another level, post the number of people you know who are struggling month to month to pay their bills.
Last
of all post whether you think your area represents the working class
that was the back bone of this country when you were growing up.
My answers:
Ingersoll Rand Bethlehem Steel Lehigh Valley Railroad Martin Zippel Toys Mobil Chemical BP Petroleum Lipton Tea Many various sewing factories and now Hershey Foods have "kissed" many workers good bye while moving their factories to Mexico
10 people personally known with addictions
Too many to mention who struggle month to month.
I
came from an area that was predominately blue collar workers, I now
live in an area that is mostly farming and they are hurting too.
**************** Conclusion **************** We
know this war in Iraq has put our country into extreme debt, but this
nation has lost it's former glory on a gradual decline over the past
twenty years when we lost the power of the unions, and blue collar
workers lost their jobs and medical benefits.
Our forefathers
who fought for freedom from King George were mostly made up of average
men working hard for a living. In South Jersey rugged fishermen,
farmers, and trappers hid in trees and surprised the smug Red Coats who
marched in fancy uniforms and played music as they marched.
They
wanted to escape "Big Government" that was telling them how to live
their private lives, what religion to practice, and hitting them with
tax after tax.
Ron Paul, is the only candidate who represents our forefathers and their ideals.
I
come from a family of Democrats. My dad was a union organizer. I saw
him come home from a union organization meeting with a bloodied shirt,
and remember my mother crying. My parents had five children, and that
was my dad's only good white shirt, and mom was expressing how she
hoped she could get the blood out. Isn't it funny how I can remember
this detail from when I was five years old.
I had been for
Hillary Clinton, until I read about her affiliation with George Soros
the business tycoon who supports globalization. I do not want this
country our parents and grandparents fought for to be absorbed into the
European Union or any other globalized government.
My son-in-law
who works at a local university told me to check Ron Paul out. I did
extensive research into this man. He cares, he has an excellent record
in D.C. He is my choice not only for the fact that he wants to return
our country to it's former glory, but he also cherishes life in all
it's forms from the womb to the grave.
When I cast my vote I
pray that my Savior Jesus Christ is happy with my choice, as well as it
being the right choice for this country to become healed of all of it's
afflictions whether they be financial or the health and well being of
it's families.
You too, must follow your conscience, your
beliefs, and your desire to see this country restored to it's former
glory. Do the right thing, do it for not just your future, but for the
future generations.
While reading posts on various sites on the
net, especially You Tube where people from other nations post comments
it is quite pertinent that we act now before it is too late. Hatred,
Vulgarity, and Hopelessness abounds and it needs to be addressed.
I'm done, thanks for reading my rants.
